Senior Grant Writer

Join Lasso, an award-winning seed-stage tech startup, as our Senior Grant Writer! This full-time role involves writing grants for our customers, working directly with them to gather necessary information and ensure compliance with agency requirements. As you grow, you'll also improve our grant writing tools and processes, collaborating with the product team and other grant writers. You'll be a key contact for grant-providing agencies and will play a crucial role in shaping our company's success. Requirements

• 4+ years of work experience, ideally in grant writing or business consulting
• Mastery of English (C2 level in CEFR proficiency scale)
• Advanced level Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Track record of working with customers on complex problems that require decision-making, data analysis, and adhering to deadlines
• Ownership mindset regarding the company’s success, and solution mindset regarding issues
• Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities

• Write grants: Take full ownership of the grant-writing process, including
• Work directly with customers to understand their projects and business, and collect data and documentation for grant applications
• Fully understand all calculations involved in grant applications
• Prepare and submit grant applications, ensuring compliance with grant-providing agencies’ requirements
• Review grant applications to maintain a high standard of quality
• Communicate with grant-providing agencies clarify requirements and submit grants
• Propose ideas and provide feedback to improve the overall grant-writing process
• Enhance and optimize tools and processes for writing and managing grants in collaboration with our product team
• Be the main point of contact for grant-providing agencies to understand requirements, and get updates on submitted grants
• Oversee task allocation, manage workflows, and review the work of other grant writers to ensure efficiency and accuracy
