Summary

Join PlayOn as a Senior Growth Product Manager to lead data-driven growth experimentation and initiatives for the NFHS Network, the largest subscription streaming service for high school sports. You will be at the forefront of innovation in consumer streaming subscriptions, translating new ideas into engaging experiences that boost long-term product growth. Reporting to the Director of Product Management, you will leverage your expertise in growth experimentation, data analysis, and rigorous testing to transform how parents and fans watch high school sports. You will define the growth team's roadmap, conduct data analysis, launch experiments, collaborate with various teams, lead pricing and packaging strategies, build reporting systems, and present results to leadership. This role requires data proficiency, growth experimentation leadership, business acumen, and B2C subscription experience. Requirements

  • Data Proficiency- You are the go-to person when it comes to understanding the data and are comfortable diving into the data without an analyst
  • Growth Experimentation Leadership- You understand when to test, what metrics to look at, and how to design experiments that deliver reliable results
  • Business Acumen- You are an expert at prioritizing based on what will have the biggest impact for the business
  • B2C Subscription Experience – You have experience working for a B2C subscription company and understand the unique challenges of subscription growth, retention, and monetization

Responsibilities

  • Measurable Average Revenue per Visitor (ARPU) Growth – Deliver quantifiable increases in ARPU through strategic A/B experimentation and data-driven optimization initiatives
  • Increased Experimentation Velocity – Accelerate testing cadence by partnering with growth engineers and leveraging platforms like VWO to increase experiment throughput and speed-to-insights
  • Optimized Pricing & Packaging Strategy - Lead comprehensive pricing evaluations in partnership with finance, model revenue impact scenarios, and execute new packaging strategies that maximize monetization
  • Define the roadmap for the growth team, articulating tradeoffs with various stakeholders to build consensus
  • Conduct data analysis using both point-and-click tools like Sigma and raw SQL queries to find opportunities & analyze experiments
  • Launch experiments in conjunction with engineers and through testing software such as VWO
  • Partner closely with software engineering, design, and product marketing to drive subscription growth
  • Lead pricing and packaging strategy initiatives, collaborating with finance to model revenue scenarios and working with engineering to implement changes
  • Build and maintain growth dashboards and reporting systems to track key metrics
  • Present experiment results and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders with clear, data-backed insights
