Summary
Join Skillsoft as a Sr. Instructor in Cyber Security and deliver high-quality training courses aligned with vendor specifications and Skillsoft/Global Knowledge quality standards. You will represent Skillsoft ILT, provide sales support, stay updated on industry changes, and contribute to customer engagement. This role involves delivering training at various locations, collaborating with sales and product management, and adhering to vendor requirements. You will also manage the classroom environment, work with the scheduling manager to optimize trainer utilization, and maintain positive relationships with team members. The position requires experience in delivering training events and specific certifications.
Requirements
- Exam passes in CCNA, CompTIA Network+ & Security+ in addition to any extra Network or Security Certification

Responsibilities
- Be qualified and authorized to deliver assigned training courses prior to first delivery, ensuring the appropriate vendor process is followed
- Deliver training courses as specified by the course vendor and in consultation with designated scheduling manager
- Deliver training courses to the required quality standards as detailed in Global Knowledgeβs quality procedures
- Adhere to vendor-specific requirements including but not limited to obtain / renew certificates and following required examination and invigilation guidelines
- Pursue agreed development plans and ensure that preparation time and team teaches are utilized to achieve these plans
- Attain the required standards in transfer of technical skills and delivery techniques as assessed in team teaches
- Be prepared to deliver courses at all Global Knowledge centers and customer sites when required
- Keep abreast of industry and vendor technology, exam and certification guidelines, distributing information to colleagues where applicable
- Provide sales support in the form of delegate leads and customer visits
- Respond within given time-scales to all operational requests for contact, information and customer enquires
- Manage the classroom and minimize delegate disruption and dissatisfaction
- Work closely with the designated scheduling manager to ensure that trainer utilization meets or exceeds the company requirements
- Adopt and display the SKS attitude β demonstrating a can do and positive attitude at all times
- Establish, build and maintain positive relationships and communication channels with all operational team members
- Perform any other duties as deemed necessary to support the growth and goals of Global Knowledge
- Assist in such duties as may be required
