Requirements

  • Possess strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Have proven experience in project management, particularly software development projects
  • Possess excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Have a strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), including Agile methodologies
  • Have a solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and mobile technologies
  • Be able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up the sleeves to get the job done
  • Have proven experience in process optimization and change management

Responsibilities

  • Understand key project objectives and stakeholders’ expectations
  • Lead project planning sessions and set clear objectives and priorities for the project team
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Develop detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring projects are completed within financial goals
  • Track and report project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and ensure stakeholders’ alignment
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Monitor and maintain project team satisfaction and wellbeing
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Introduce and promote best practices related to project governance at Callstack and within the client’s organization
  • Continuously improve processes and look for optimization of repetitive tasks
  • Be flexible to work in afternoon/evening hours occasionally
  • Take part in onsite meetings with project stakeholders in the USA and Europe

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have experience with project management software tools, such as JIRA, ADO, Confluence, Notion, etc
  • Have experience managing distributed teams (onshore and offshore)
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team and take ownership
  • Have Scrum, Agile, SAFe, or relevant certification
