Summary
Join Brightspeed's growing Finance team as a Senior Lead Financial Analyst, Network Expense Operations. Reporting to the Manager, Network Expense Operations, you will be responsible for reviewing, processing, and paying invoices related to the company's telecommunications network. You will lead process improvements and ensure accurate expense accounting. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, managing cost of sales, and maintaining vendor relationships. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and communication skills and experience with relevant software and the telecommunications industry. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar field
- 5+ years of experience in related area as a senior analyst, team leader, or supervisor
- Experience with RazorFlow expenseNX Suite (ENX)
- Experience with SAP
- Telecommunications industry experience
- Experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Attention to detail and excellent analytical capabilities to break down complex ideas into simple and manageable segments, troubleshoot data issues, and see issues to resolution
- Experience identifying process gaps and implementing improvements
Responsibilities
- Use RazorFlow expenseNX Suite (ENX) to approve, dispute, resolve, and pay network invoices
- Work with vendors to reconcile payments, resolve disputes, locate missing invoices, and other vendor interactions
- Set up new vendor accounts in SAP (AP-subledger and Accounting general ledger) and new Billing Account Numbers (BANs) in ENX
- Meet objectives associated with network expense operations such as timely payment, avoidance of penalties, avoidance of late fees, appropriate dispute win-rates, and other agreed upon team-related metrics
- Work interdepartmentally with Accounting, FP&A, Carrier Relations, Operations and other teams to effectively and efficiently resolve issues and maintain a high level of ongoing communication
- Act as the primary point of contact for actual to budget, actual to forecast, and period over period variance explanations for network expense and other components of Company cost of sales
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or similar field
