Summary

This role is for a Product Manager at Datacor, a leading provider of software solutions for the process manufacturing industry. The job involves conducting customer discovery, maintaining a product roadmap, and enabling the product team to execute. The ideal candidate should have experience with enterprise SaaS solutions, understand modern product discovery and delivery techniques, and be able to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years working with enterprise SaaS solutions
• Understanding of modern product discovery and delivery techniques
• Ability to learn multiple functional areas of business – engineering, design, finance, sales, or marketing
• Ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative
• Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship

Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery with customers and prospects and perform market research to identify product opportunities
• Maintain a product roadmap for large, impactful features that drive customer success, create cross-sell & upsell opportunities, and help Datacor expand its total addressable market
• Maintain and prioritize a feature & bug backlog that drive positive customer sentiment and user experience
• Enable the product team to execute upon the roadmap and feature & bug backlog by writing use cases & functional requirements, and ensuring the team understands the problem to be solved & and outcomes/value to be delivered
• Drive go-to-market activities through Marketing, Sales, Services, and Support enablement initiatives
• Run product advisory groups and limited availability programs to foster collaboration with customers, drive adoption, and improve customer sentiment
• Present and collaborate at all levels of an organization, both internally & externally

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ERP, process manufacturing, and distribution preferred
