Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in instructional design, learning and development, or a related field
  • Proven track record of designing scalable, innovative learning solutions that drive measurable business impact
  • Deep expertise in adult learning theory, instructional design best practices, and a range of learning modalities
  • Proficiency with learning technologies and authoring tools
  • Experience mentoring and upskilling other designers, with strong leadership and coaching capabilities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively across teams and influence stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, with excellent organizational and project management skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of innovative, scalable learning solutions customized for a wide range of roles and needs across Angi
  • Develop cutting-edge learning modalities - including e-learning, instructor-led training, in product learning, and just-in-time solutions - grounded in adult learning principles and optimized for performance
  • Create comprehensive evaluation strategies to assess learning effectiveness and its impact on business outcomes
  • Translate complex business information into digestible, high-impact learning content in close partnership with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams
  • Create continuous improvements loops through learner feedback, business metrics, and performance data to proactively refine learning content and approaches
  • Collaborate cross-functionally as a strategic thought partner to ensure alignment between learning initiatives and critical business priorities across various teams
  • Act as a mentor and subject matter expert on learning design standards, advanced authoring tools, and design best practices
  • Guide and support designer team in building foundational skills and growing their instructional design capabilities
  • Develop and champion scalable tools, frameworks, and templates that drive consistency, efficiency, and a world class learning experience across Angi

  • The salary band for this position ranges from $90,000 - $120,000 commensurate with experience and performance
