You will design, implement, and improve financial processes, perform monthly reporting and analysis, and support key projects. Requirements
- Has experience working in a tech startup or high-growth environment (essential)
- Holds a relevant post-qualification certification (ACA or ACCA) in finance
- Comes from a Big 4 audit background
- Is proficient in Excel and Google Suite
- Has a solid knowledge of IFRS
- Is adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity, thriving in a dynamic environment
- Enjoys optimizing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and driving change
- Has a problem-solving mindset, strong attention to detail, and an analytical approach to data
- Has experience working with cross-functional teams in a remote setting
- Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing, and enjoys working in a supportive, collaborative environment
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize business processes with automation in mind, reducing manual work and bringing insights wherever possible
- Have the opportunity to use your wide breadth of Finance experience in uplifting and improving operational and reporting processes
- Perform monthly financial reporting, ad-hoc project analyses, and support financial models for the Group
- Identifying opportunities to enhance finance and contribute to key projects, from systems implementation to process improvements for a scaling business
- Help improve and deliver insightful reporting to our Executive team, Board, and Venture Capital investors
- Support year-end audit processes, including managing queries and data requests
- Maintain balance sheet controls, ensuring clear ownership and communication across teams
- Work with external providers to ensure timely compliance with regulatory and compliance requirements, currently in the UK and US
