Join Revalize as a Senior Manager, Content Marketing and lead the development and execution of the overall content strategy for our SaaS products. You will create engaging content that drives awareness, generates leads, and supports the customer journey. This role demands strategic thinking and hands-on execution, aligning content with business objectives and delivering value to customers. You will lead a team of content creators, manage content creation processes, and leverage data to optimize content performance. The position is remote within the United States. Success in this role requires strong content strategy, SEO, project management, and leadership skills.
Requirements
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in content strategy, content marketing, or a similar role, ideally within the SaaS or manufacturing space. CPQ, PLM, and/or CAD experience a plus
- Content Expertise: Strong understanding of content creation, storytelling, and marketing techniques, with experience developing both long-form and short-form content
- SEO Knowledge: Deep understanding of SEO best practices and content optimization techniques for better search engine visibility
- Project Management: Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple content initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze content performance data and adjust strategies based on KPIs and metrics
- Communication Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt content for different audiences and platforms
- Collaboration & Teamwork: Strong ability to work cross-functionally and lead collaborative initiatives with other departments such as sales, design, and product
Responsibilities
- Create & Own the Content Strategy: Develop and manage a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the companyβs goals, target audience, and buyer personas
- Content Planning: Develop an editorial calendar and content marketing roadmap that outlines key themes, topics, and content deliverables across multiple mediums, audiences, and channels
- SEO Strategy: Work closely with the SEO team to optimize content for search engines, ensuring content is discoverable and aligns with best practices for organic growth
- Brand Messaging: Ensure all content reflects our brand voice, tone, and messaging, creating a unified and compelling experience for our audience. Collaborate on the Revalize story with leadership, product marketing, and PR
- Lead Content Creation: Manage the creation of high-quality content like blog posts, reports, case studies, website copy, social posts, and more. From short-form video to interactive tools, think beyond traditional approaches to reach our audience
- AI Best Practices: Establish clear guidelines for leveraging AI in content creation to ensure high-quality outcomes. Lead the team in adopting AI tools to improve efficiency and scale in areas like research and repurposing content, while preserving originality that will resonate with our target audience
- Multimedia Content: Collaborate with design and multimedia teams to create engaging visual content (e.g., infographics, videos, and slide decks) that complements written materials
- Content Repurposing: Optimize and repurpose content across different formats (e.g., turning blogs into webinars, eBooks into email sequences, etc.) to maximize reach and engagement
- Monitor Content Impact: Focus on distribution from the get-go and analyze the impact of content. Prioritize the roadmap based on content that builds our brand, drives traffic, and converts
- Collaborate with campaign and channel strategists: Track campaign performance using KPIs and analytics tools to measure content impact on brand metrics and lead gen targets
- Report Insights: Provide regular reports on content influence, with actionable insights and recommendations for future improvements
- Data-Driven Decisions: Use data to inform copywriting strategies and content development to improve engagement and conversion
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of content creators in a player/coach capacity, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure high-quality content delivery
- Part-time contractors and agency partners: Prioritize projects, manage workflow and monitor budget
- Content Process: Manage and prioritize content requests, interview and/or ghostwrite with subject matter experts, and serve as the primary editor across teams
- Content Operations: Recommend and implement processes, tools, and workflows that reflect best practices for building a world-class content marketing playbook
- Content Governance: Ensure content creation follows brand guidelines, maintains quality, and is consistent across all channels
Preferred Qualifications
CMS and DAM Experience: Working knowledge of content management solutions and digital asset management tools a plus
