Summary

Join DEPT® as a Senior Manager, Integrated Planning & Strategy and become a key member of our strategy team. You will be responsible for developing data-driven strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and serving as a trusted advisor to internal and external partners. This role requires 5+ years of experience in cross-channel media planning and optimization, with a focus on Paid Social. You will work with various data sources and tools to create holistic communication plans and media strategies. The position demands strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills. Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on in cross-channel media planning & optimization inclusive of all digital channels with Paid Social as the sole emphasis for this role
  • 5+ Experience with media industry research and planning tools (i.e. ComScore, MRI, GWI, Kantar, Pathmatics)
  • Experience planning Paid media channels within a larger media ecosystem that includes Owned channels
  • 1 year minimum of client facing experience and management experience
  • Understanding of Brand and Performance media and the synergy across the two
  • Able to clearly and concisely articulate a persuasive point of view, both written and verbal, presenting to project stakeholders
  • Curious and creative, while rigorous and analytical
  • Strong collaboration, client relationship, and leadership skills
  • Experience navigating cross-functional teams and dynamics

Responsibilities

  • Pulling together research insights from Competitive data (Pathmatics, Vivvix, Similarweb), Audience Research (GWI), Landscape insights (eMarketer, business journals), Client Data (GA, CM, META etc) and 1P data
  • Developing and contributing to full funnel media and data driven strategies based on research insights
  • Support the creation of holistic communication plans and corresponding media strategies; from setting objectives & KPIs, audience sizing, profiling, targeting, determining media channel mix and potential tactics/partners, budget setting to measurement frameworks
  • Closely partner and collaborate with interconnected internal teams such as Client Services, Creative Services, Activation and Data Sciences when creating and executing holistic media campaigns
  • Work along a range of cross-discipline teams both within the agency and client’s team alike, building a collaborative and trusting relationship along the way
  • Work closely with various Client stakeholders and their internal teams to develop briefs that guide adjacent internal and external partners for campaign activation
  • Ability to boost morale and develop team culture - being a positive example and growing careers of junior team members alike
  • Provides new or different thinking and shares ideas openly
  • Strong communication and presentation skills and is able to contribute to a client presentation confidently on their own
  • Strong analytical mind and strategic thinker / problem solver and is solution-oriented
