Join Soko Glam as a Senior Manager of International Sales & Key Accounts, a 6โ12 month independent contractor role based remotely in South Korea with potential travel. Lead and execute B2B sales strategies focused on expanding Soko Glamโs global retail footprint, concentrating on K-beauty. Identify and secure new retail and distribution partners in key international markets. Manage and grow existing wholesale accounts and retail relationships. Represent Soko Glam in business development and account meetings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure account success. Deliver timely updates to the Senior Director of Business Development. This role requires 8+ years of experience in international B2B sales and an extensive network of contacts within the Korean beauty industry. Fluency in Korean and English is required.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in international B2B sales, account management, or business development, ideally within the beauty or consumer goods space
- Extensive network of contacts within the Korean beauty industry, including strong relationships with key decision-makers at leading K-beauty brands and retailers
- Deep knowledge of Korean beauty trends, brands, products, and retail ecosystem
- Proven ability to independently manage sales pipelines and deliver growth through strategic partnerships
- Strong project management and communication skills; highly organized and responsive
- Comfortable working independently while managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders
- Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, market trends, and financial reports to inform strategic decisions and identify opportunities for growth
- Exceptional attention to detail is critical for accurate reporting and effective account management
- Bilingual proficiency: Fluency in both Korean and English required
- Familiarity with working in global, cross-cultural environments
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute B2B sales strategies focused on expanding Soko Glamโs global retail footprint, with a core focus on K-beauty
- Identify, engage, and secure new retail and distribution partners across key international markets
- Manage and grow existing wholesale accounts and retail relationships with excellence
- Represent Soko Glamโs brand and portfolio of Korean partners in business development and account meetings, both virtually and in-person
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, merchandising, operations) to ensure account success and operational readiness, leveraging strong project management skills to coordinate activities, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of key initiatives
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness in all aspects of account management and reporting
- Deliver clear and timely updates to the Senior Director of Business Development; prepare account performance summaries and market insights, utilizing analytical skills to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Travel domestically within South Korea and internationally as needed to support meetings, brand events, and partner visits
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in startup or fast-growth environments strongly preferred
