Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in paid social, paid media, or digital marketing, consistently driving measurable results and significant ROI
  • A proven track record of developing and implementing innovative paid media strategies, with a strong passion for staying ahead of digital marketing trends and a willingness to challenge the status quo
  • Deep hands-on experience with paid media platforms (Meta, TikTok, etc.) and a comprehensive understanding of their capabilities, best practices, evolving ad formats, and the broader digital media ecosystem
  • Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in using data to optimize campaigns, measure incrementality, and translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations
  • A strong understanding of creative best practices for paid media, with the ability to provide strategic guidance and feedback to creative teams. A proven track record of rapid creative tests at scale to drive performance
  • A holistic understanding of the customer journey and the role of paid media across all stages of the funnel
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with platform partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information and influence decision-making
  • Experience managing and mentoring junior team members and paid media planners, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop and champion a long-term vision for paid social and display, translating complex business objectives into clear, actionable strategies that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and conversion across the full funnel
  • Anticipate industry trends, identifying and evaluating emerging platforms/technologies (e.g., AI-driven automation, new ad formats), and proactively identifying new opportunities for growth and innovation
  • Demonstrate deep social platform expertise and cultivate strong relationships with social platform partners to identify and leverage new opportunities, betas, and best practices. Identify new partners to test and scale the business
  • Create and operate campaigns across key paid social channels (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Snapchat, etc.), overseeing end-to-end management, including creative coordination, audience definition, bid monitoring, and day-to-day optimizations
  • Design and implement a rigorous testing framework and roadmap (A/B, multivariate, etc.) to optimize campaign performance across creative, targeting, bidding, and channel strategies. Run in-depth data analysis to identify opportunities for improvement, drive testing strategies, and improve key metrics (CTR, CVR, CPI, ROAS)
  • Provide guidance on creative best practices, ensuring assets are optimized for each channel and aligned with brand guidelines. Champion innovative creative approaches and formats to maximize engagement and maintain a competitive edge
  • Partner with our organic social and content teams to leverage influencers within paid social to achieve our goals
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams (product, creative, engineering, analytics) to maximize channel performance and manage partner integrations (e.g., landing pages, tag integration, product feeds and app tracking)
  • Develop a holistic understanding of the role of paid media across the entire customer journey, and implement strategies that effectively integrate paid media with other marketing channels
  • Provide regular updates on campaign performance, insights, and recommendations to marketing leadership. Forecast quarterly budgets and track partner pacing
  • Manage/mentor a team of paid media specialists, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment
