Join Deputy, a global SaaS workforce management company, as a Senior Solution Architect! In this senior role within the Business Systems team, you will lead the delivery of projects and enhancements on applications supporting various business units. You'll partner with cross-functional teams, design end-to-end solutions, and develop a strategic roadmap for system consolidation. Success hinges on strong partnerships, challenging the status quo, and ensuring applications meet current and future business needs. You will also manage and mentor a remote team, recruiting new members to build a world-class team. This role requires significant experience in solution architecture, SaaS technologies, and team leadership.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years working as a Solution Architect (or equivalent) with particular focus on SaaS technologies, at least 3 years management experience
  • Proven experience working closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to deliver on business objectives
  • Ability to influence others and drive decisions in a highly dynamic and customer-focused environment
  • Strong partnering skills with a focus on โ€˜listening to learnโ€™. The ideal candidate would empower the team and enable internal stakeholders to self-serve and continuously improve the tech stack
  • Strong background in mentoring, developing and guiding a team of Architects / Solution Designers
  • Demonstrated ability leading a team in a complex and rapidly changing environment
  • Practical experience working with architectural frameworks and methodologies, such as TOGAF, Zachman or similar, allowing you to develop roadmaps/plans that align technology with business objectives
  • Technology domain expertise in Billing (Subscriptions) & Sales/Marketing (GTM) are essential (at least one)
  • Technical acumen and a strategic understanding of the essential systems used to support a SaaS organisation, which must include Salesforce and Zuora (or similar)
  • Advanced SQL knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Be Hands on - writing architecture / solution designs, collaborating with others and getting into the systems to make changes when necessary
  • Designing end-to-end solutions that meet business needs, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security, and integration capabilities
  • Leading Technology evaluations through to recommendation/adoption - E.g. AI tooling, Self-Serve Automation etc
  • Presenting solutions to both technical and non-technical team members at all levels of the company
  • Managing and engaging teams remotely, across different geos
  • Recruiting new team members as we grow and build a world-class, sustainable and diverse team

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications in Salesforce, Java Development experience and TOGAF certification are a plus
