Requirements

  • 8+ years of combined experience at Big 4 public accounting + technical accounting and SEC reporting at a public company
  • Significant experience with ASC 606, ASC 718, ASC 805
  • Experience compiling financial statements and disclosure, and completing disclosure checklists
  • Project management experience required, including demonstrated savvy in working with cross functional partners through proactive prioritization of tasks to meet deadlines and balancing demands
  • Concise and effective communicator with teammates, leadership and a variety of other internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with close management software including Blackline, Numeric or Floqast

Responsibilities

  • Take the lead of working with members of the accounting team to uplevel quality controls: reconciliations, flux analysis, performance of key controls
  • Help lead the build out and monthly aggregation of financial data for accounting close package
  • Be direct liaison with auditors and internal accounting team to efficiently get through audits
  • Take lead on building out reports within NetSuite
  • Responsible for all technical accounting activities: partner with legal to develop a clear calendar for option activity to be updated in Carta quarterly and book related SBC entries, perform equity rollforward, accounting related to US corporate taxes, and special project accounting including acquisitions and adoption of new accounting guidance
  • Be owner of revenue accounting including the maintenance of internally developed model to calculate revenue on a monthly basis
  • Assess and maintain intercompany agreements

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA designation preferred, or desire to obtain it
  • Experience with SEC reporting, including XBRL
  • Experience operating within a US public company and complying with SOX requirements
  • Experience with NetSuite plus
