Join Maravai LifeSciences as a Sr. Marketing Manager and drive the execution of targeted activities to develop specific markets and achieve North American revenue targets. Lead the US implementation of global marketing strategies, prioritizing key growth targets, and communicating product value with a customer-centric focus. Monitor competitive activity, identify customer needs, and enhance regional content and marketing strategies. Research and connect with industry thought leaders to fuel content and customer engagement. Assist in developing and executing regional customer engagement events and sales promotional activities. Serve as a liaison between the Maravai Innovation office and the TriLink commercial team. Report on KPIs and ROI, making recommendations for improvements. Be the single point of contact for all marketing inquiries from NA selling teams. This role requires a BA/BS degree, 10+ years of relevant experience, and excellent communication and analytical skills.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree with focus in business, science, or a related field
- 10+ years of marketing or sales in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech or Life Science industry
- Experience working with multi-disciplinary functions which may include Finance, Sales, Product Management, and Marketing
- Excellent communicator with the ability to effectively engage with customers
- Comfortable with ambiguity, with a desire to help teams get to clarity
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English required
- Located in US
- Ability to travel regionally, 25-30%
Responsibilities
- Leads the US execution and implementation plans of global marketing strategy, identifying and prioritizing key targets for growth, communicating product value, and embedding a strong customer-centric focus into the portfolio
- Monitor competitive activity and identify customer needs to enhance regional content and marketing strategy
- Research and connect with relevant industry thought and key opinion leaders to identify stories, trends and topics that will fuel content outputs and customer engagement opportunities
- Assist in the development and execution of regional customer engagement events, webinars, and trade shows to promote company products
- Explore and execute regional sales promotional activities to drive revenue and adoption of TriLink products and services in targeted customer segments
- Service as liaison between the Maravai Innovation office and TriLink commercial team on key programs to assist in building brand ambassadors
- Reports against KPIs and ROI of these tactical activities back to the Commercial Leadership and other key stakeholders, making proactive recommendations for improvements
- Be the single point of contact for all marketing inquiries from NA selling teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in regional marketing or product management highly requested
- Technical skill and experience in nucleic acid products or services preferred, but not required
