Summary

DoraHacks is seeking an experienced Senior Media Relations & Content Strategy Manager to join their team. This role involves developing media relations strategies, collaborating with journalists, leading content strategy, managing relationships with key media contacts, and planning media campaigns. The position requires proven experience in media relations or related roles, excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and a Bachelor's degree in communications or a related field.

Requirements

• Proven experience in media relations, content strategy, or related roles, preferably in the technology or blockchain industry
• Strong understanding of North American media landscape and best practices
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with journalists and media partners
• Strategic thinker with the ability to identify compelling story angles and content topics
• Experience managing external content contributors and reviewing/approving content submissions
• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement media relations strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation
• Collaborate with media outlets and journalists to pitch and coordinate coverage of company events and developments
• Lead content strategy by curating article topics and coordinating content creation by external writers
• Review and approve content submissions to ensure alignment with brand messaging and quality standards
• Manage relationships with key media contacts and influencers in the industry
• Plan and execute media campaigns and press events to increase company exposure
