Senior Operations Associate

Responsibilities

• Supporting portfolio managers and execution traders, including trade capture, reconciliation, positions & trade query resolution, ad-hoc reporting, settlement, compressions, collapses and corporate actions
• Gathering a detailed understanding of upcoming trading strategy updates and anticipating operative impact and needs
• Build and maintain solid relationships with external third-party vendors
• Managing all related layers of complexity involved in daily positions and cash reconciliation
• Granting consistency of information in OMS to ensure reliability of marked-to-market p&l
• Reviewing, improving and documenting existing procedures to secure and smoothen all aspects of trading and the post-trading workflow
• Implement and monitor all required operational key risk and process indicators to identify, communicate and solve all related issues
• Interfacing with the technology team, compliance, treasury activity, and pricing and valuation review flow

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of Markit MTM, DTCC, ICE link, Trade Web and Bloomberg
