Senior Optimization Analyst

Summary

DEFCON AI is hiring a Senior Optimization Analyst with a minimum of 5 years of experience in solving complex problems using analysis. The candidate should have a graduate degree in mathematics, operations research, physics, computer science, industrial engineering, or related field. Programming skills in Python and/or R are required, along with knowledge and experience in statistics and data science. Secret Clearance is necessary.

Requirements

• MS, or Ph.D. in mathematics, operations research, physics, computer science, industrial engineering, or related field
• Experience formulating and solving mixed integer linear and/or non-linear optimization
• Knowledge and experience with statistics and data science
• Programming experience in Python and/or R, including common data science libraries (e.g. Pandas, Numpy) and SQL
• At least 5 years of experience using analysis to solve complex problems
• Secret Clearance, ability to achieve a Secret Clearance required

Responsibilities

Conducting cutting-edge analytics in support of defense and commercial applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience formulating and solving mobility/transportation problems
• Practical experience applying AI/ML techniques
• At least 10 years of experience using analysis to solve a wide range of complex problems
