Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR advisory, people operations, or a similar role
- Proven experience in managing HR operational processes, projects, and initiatives in a fast-paced environment
- Deep understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills and able to assess issues from multiple angles comprehensively to problem solve effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly
- Proficient in data analysis and HR metrics to drive decision-making and improvements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Drive etc.) Familiarity with HRIS and other HR technologies
- Proactiveness to get involved in hands-on activities and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teams and across functions
- Highly analytical, meticulous, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
- Ability to take ownership and lead initiatives with minimal supervision
Responsibilities
- Being the point of contact to provide sound HR advice and support to employees on various HR matters including policies, benefits, performance, and career development
- Address employee queries and issues promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive employee experience
- Advise on the application of HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistent and fair treatment of employees
- Ensure HR practices comply with local labor laws and regulations
- Identify potential HR risks and implement strategies to mitigate them
- Possess a strong understanding of HR process chains and responsibilities within People operations domain from an employee lifecycle perspective
- Work closely with vendors to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and taxation, and benefit administration in remote countries. Assist in other countries when support is needed
- Possess good vendor management skills and knowledge
- Ensure work permit applications, immigration matters etc, are processed in a timely manner
- Prepare employee dashboards/ reports as needed
- HRIS employee core database management - Maintain accurate HR data in HRIS and ensure timely reporting and analytics
- Represent the company during audit/ regulatory checks
- Develop and implement efficient HR processes to enhance operational effectiveness
- Work closely with HR team to support and execute HR-related initiatives
- HR Initiatives: Lead or support HR projects related to process improvement, automation, employee engagement and strategic initiatives
- Change Management: Manage HR aspects of organizational changes, including communication, training, and transition support
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes and alignment with business objectives
- Fulfill any other tasks as reasonably instructed to assist in the businessβs growth and progress
