Summary

Join Samsara's Mexico and Global Technical Support teams as a bilingual People Partner! You will build strong relationships with business leaders, contribute to employee success, and shape employee programs and culture. This hybrid role requires 3 days a week in the Mexico City office and 2 days remotely, with up to 10% travel. You'll collaborate with leadership, provide strategic partnership and coaching, and drive talent management programs. Requirements

  • 8+ years of HR business partnering experience working with leaders or management consulting
  • BA/BS degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, communication or other related discipline
  • A combination of HR experience in the following areas: Organizational design, succession planning, performance management, diversity and inclusion, business consulting, compensation and rewards, recognition programs, culture keeper, employee engagement, coaching and development, talent acquisition, data analysis, and employee relations
  • Strong bias for action with a propensity to thrive in ambiguity and gray areas
  • Demonstrated solid judgment and experience assessing risk relative to the business
  • Experience using data to identify insights that drive action
  • Experience helping regions grow in a global and/or matrixed organizations
  • Effective communication, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong business and people acumen, as well as consulting, conflict resolution, and facilitation skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, iterative environment, open to changes in focus and direction
  • Bi-lingugal in English and Spanish (C1 level or greater)
  • Ability to travel to Samsara office or offsite events as needed

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leadership to understand business goals and develop People strategies that impact organizational objectives. Assess business needs, drive people initiatives, partner on critical talent decisions, and implement customized talent strategies
  • Establish yourself as a trusted and strategic partner for the leaders, managers and employees by providing strategic business partnership, thought partnership, and coaching
  • Assume shared responsibility for the organizational and cultural health of the region and the effectiveness of its leadership team(s)
  • Provide regional expertise and guidance on wide ranging employee topics including policies, benefits, local practices, cultural nuances, and issues, driving scalable solutions where necessary
  • Drive and support cyclical talent management and compensation/reward programs
  • Participate and lead projects as an integral member of the People Experience team
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters or MBA
  • Experience working in a technology environment
  • Proficient knowledge working in Workday, Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.), and Tableau
