Requirements
- 5+ years in People related roles with 3+ years experience as a People Business Partner or similar role
- Demonstrable experience of coaching leaders through performance management and employee relations issues
- Intellectual curiosity about people and organizational issues
- Experience establishing relationships as a trusted partner to Leadership team members
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Strong project management, change management, problem solving and analytical skills
- A doer mentality with the ability to translate vision into action
- Previous experience working in fast-paced environments and helping organizations scale
Responsibilities
- Partner with Engineering Leadership to identify and develop talent strategies that align with the business goals and foster effective, high-performing teams
- Deliver timely and relevant education on people-related matters to all levels within the organization, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Coach and support managers on performance management, including goal setting, feedback and employee development, to drive individual and team growth
- Offer guidance in key areas such as performance feedback and process, compensation changes and rewards and recognition levers
- Collaborate in the continuous development and enhancement of People programs including recruiting, retention, compensation, benefits and learning initiatives
- Work closely with the broader People team to promote and cultivate a high-performance culture where employees are engaged, motivated, and inspired to achieve business goals through engagement survey action planning
- Help execute core Talent Management processes including performance calibration, compensation, talent reviews and succession planning
- Analyse people-related data and trends to provide actionable insights that support business decision-making, proactively addressing potential challenges
- Partner with Engineering Leadership to guide organizational change initiatives, leveraging knowledge of employee needs, managing resistance, and ensuring smooth transitions during times of transformation
- Partner in the development and execution of DEI strategies, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and empowered
- Partner to execute organizational changes
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience as a BP supporting the Engineering function a plus
