Summary

Join ExtraHop as a Sr. Pricing & Packaging Manager and develop pricing strategies to drive revenue growth and market competitiveness. Collaborate with various teams, including RevOps, Product, Sales, and Finance, to shape pricing models and implement scalable processes. Evaluate profitability and ensure pricing integrity across the product portfolio. This strategic and hands-on role requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to influence stakeholders. You will drive implementation of pricing and packaging, negotiate internally, develop pricing strategies to enhance profitability, and maintain internal controls. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or marketing (MBA preferred), 7+ years of experience (2 years in management consulting preferred), and direct experience in pricing, sales, or finance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required with concentration in finance, business or marketing; MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of experience, with 2 years of that experience in management consulting experience preferred
  • Direct experience in pricing, sales, finance or a combination thereof; hands-on pricing/packaging implementation experience a plus
  • Strategic thinker with excellent business acumen and a bias for action
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple projects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

Responsibilities

  • Drive and manage implementation of pricing and packaging – work with various stakeholders across the company
  • Negotiate and influence internally to drive adoption of new pricing structures and strategies
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies that enhance profitability
  • Develop and maintain internal controls over pricing activities to ensure compliance
  • Collaborate with Rev Ops / Deal desk on effective adoption of pricing guidelines
  • Translate strategy and analysis into documented operational requirements for implementation of approved pricing actions
  • Maintain standardized operational reports and dashboards to monitor overall SKU health, data integrity and other key objectives and performance indicators
  • Establish pricing for new products based on projected demand and profitability
  • Work closely with other teams to track movements in costs
  • Analyze price change requests by evaluating margin impact, potential incremental volume and competitor price levels
  • Track market trends and keeping up to date on prices in the ecosystem
  • Understanding multi-tier sales model and the impact on price setting
