Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working as a Product Analyst or a similar role
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for querying and manipulating data
  • A demonstrated ability to manage and deliver on multiple projects with cross-functional teams and a high attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong product sense and good understanding of experimentation and A/B testing concepts
  • Foundational Python skills (e.g., data manipulation with Pandas, basic scripting)
  • Solid understanding of dashboarding and data visualization tools (we use Preset and Metabase)

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the product managers to create insights and recommendations that inform roadmaps and product strategy
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide visibility into product performance, user behavior, and key metrics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design experiments and validate hypotheses quickly, measure the impact of changes effectively
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across different stages of the user journey to drive retention and user acquisition and activation strategies
  • Contribute to the prioritization of product features and roadmaps based on ROI and long term goals
  • Collaborate with other members of the data team to improve internal data process
  • Conduct ad hoc investigations and make evidence-based recommendations
  • Drive adoption of our product analytics and BI tool to enable self serve and improve data driven culture

Preferred Qualifications

  • Startup experience
  • Bonus points for B2C fintech experience
  • Experience with experimentation and product analytics platforms like Statsig (which is what we use), Amplitude, Posthog, or others
  • Experience working with dbt, cloud data warehouses (we use Snowflake)
  • Bonus points if you are existing Shakepay customer and/or familiar with the product
  • Interest and enthusiasm for the possibilities enabled by Bitcoin and non-sovereign money
