Summary

Join A Place for Mom as a Senior Product Manager and lead the development of our transformative Lead Management Platform. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong product vision to support our call center agents, senior living advisors, and sales operations team. You will balance customer-centric design with advanced reporting, build strong feedback loops, and consolidate legacy products into a unified experience. You will report to the VP of Product and partner with other product leads. The ideal candidate is a strategic and empathetic leader with a proven track record in building and scaling products within a lead generation and management environment. Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with a track record of delivering successful products, ideally with some exposure/experience with CRM systems, specifically in lead routing, distribution and post referral engagement
  • High-level strategic thinker with the ability to translate long-term product vision into actionable, value-driving plans that align with organizational goals and customer needs
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in utilizing reporting visualization tools (Tableau, Amplitude, Databricks) and performance comparison dashboards to read out on product/feature performance
  • A passion for understanding user needs and translating them into product features and experiences that deliver value
  • Proven track record of building and scaling products with a deep focus on user experience, community engagement, and retention strategies that drive positive customer sentiment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, customer support, and data science, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
  • Experience successfully navigating product transitions, including the strategic consolidation of legacy products into cohesive new platforms to improve customer experience
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, with the skill to articulate complex product strategies and inspire cross-functional teams around a shared vision
  • Proactive problem solver with the resilience and adaptability to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced, evolving marketplace environment
  • Familiarity with software development, product design, and data analysis tools. Ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Support and lead the development of a cohesive product vision and translate said strategy into a robust roadmap that prioritizes the most impactful features and user experiences for our community customers
  • Define clear objectives and key results (OKRs) that align with the business’s overall goals, ensuring each product initiative delivers measurable value
  • Develop direct feedback loops, providing a seamless way for sales team to share their experiences and needs
  • Ensure these insights directly inform product updates and drive continuous improvement
  • Build mechanisms for customers to see their feedback in action, reinforcing the commitment to user-centered innovation and customer engagement
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and UX teams to bring sales-focused features to life
  • Prioritize intuitive, responsive design that promotes engagement and enhances overall sentiment
  • Develop and integrate personalized recommendations and content, leveraging user data to create tailored and meaningful customer journeys
  • Advocate for sales needs by using data insights and industry trends to anticipate needs and exceed expectations
  • Conduct user feedback sessions with sales to inform needs and evaluate feature prioritization in line with overall company goals
  • Establish ROI and performance tracking systems that provide sales with real-time insights
  • Evaluate/design comparison tools and analytics dashboards, empowering sales to make data-informed decisions about how to progress the lead through the funnel
  • Use data and analytics to gain insights into sales team behaviors and trends, identifying opportunities to enhance product offerings and inform strategic decision-making
  • Strategize and manage the long-term migration of different critical features of legacy products to align with new strategic vision for our lead platform products
  • Ensure that sales experience minimal disruption through change
  • Develop clear communication plans to inform and support sales through product transitions, providing resources that make the new enhancements intuitive and easy to adopt
  • Serve as a point of contact for product strategy across departments, fostering close collaboration with engineering, design, customer support, and data science teams
  • Guide and mentor others, providing clear direction and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture
  • Establish expertise cross domains and articulate a feature development impact to adjacent domains

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with call center technology such as Five9
