Senior Product Manager

Summary

The job is for a Senior Product Manager at BlaBlaCar's Bus Marketplace. The role involves leading the development and optimization of features for the Bus Aggregation Engine, collaborating with various teams, making data-driven decisions, and acting as a mentor for another product manager.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product management experience: demonstrated track record of at least six years in product management roles, with a focus on driving product development and strategy
• 3+ years of experience managing backend or B2B product & services
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees such as an MBA are advantageous
• Strong analytical skills: proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets
• English language proficiency is a must

Responsibilities

• Define & communicate the Product & Engineering strategy & roadmap to all stakeholders
• Define the associated backlog and roadmap, prioritizing the highest-impact projects
• Lead the prioritization, specification, and delivery follow-up of the Bus Aggregation Engine team
• Formalize and generate alignment on major decisions related to the Bus Aggregation Engine scope
• Deploy, follow up, and communicate about its execution among different teams
• Be the “go-to” product person on all Bus Aggregation Engine topics
• Cross-functional Collaboration: work closely with engineering, design, and business teams to drive product development from concept to launch
• Data-Driven Decision Making: utilize data analytics, user feedback, and market insights to make informed product decisions
• Quality Assurance: Implement robust testing and monitoring processes to ensure the quality and reliability of products & services in your scope. Collaborate with engineering teams to address any issues or bugs promptly
• Stakeholder Communication: communicate product vision, roadmap updates, and key milestones to internal stakeholders and executive leadership. Solicit feedback and actively engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment and support

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience collaborating with remote teams is a must, particularly those based in Eastern Europe
• Ukrainian language proficiency is a strong plus
