Summary
Join BuzzRx as a Senior Product Manager for Claims Adjudication and lead the evolution and integration of our processing platforms. You will align core business outcomes with customer needs through workshops, stakeholder management, and executive presentations. Responsibilities include scoping and driving new functionality, staying current on NCPDP standards, managing adjudication platforms, and developing product roadmaps. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive innovation, and ensure high-quality product delivery. This senior-level role requires extensive experience in pharmacy data sets, claims adjudication systems, and NCPDP standards. A minimum of 10 years in product management is needed, along with experience in B2B and B2C environments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with pharmacy data sets and standards including NCPDP, MediSpan, FDB, GSDD, etc
- 5+ years of experience working with pharmacy claims adjudication systems
- Deep Experience with NCPDP standards including Telecom and SCRIPT and other healthcare standards
- Active participation in NCPDP work groups, expertise in SCRIPT and Telecom standards
- Minimum of 10 years in Product Management, with proven experience in leading and developing product management teams
- Experience in both B2B and B2C product environments
- Demonstrated success in launching and managing innovative products
- Strong strategic thinking and execution skills
- Experience in gathering insights from customers and driving customer-led initiatives
- Prioritize shipping working software, with an “execution mindset” focused on getting things done quickly and simply
- Strong interpersonal skills, negotiating ability and evidence of enabling teamwork in a matrix environment
- Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or other transactional processing systems
- Excellent leadership and team-building abilities, with a focus on coaching and mentoring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Technology, related field
Responsibilities
- Scope, evaluate, define and drive forward new functionality and features related to claims processing and adjudication
- Stay active and current in NCPDP and function as a subject matter expert on Telecom and SCRIPT standards. Participate in task groups and other work groups as needed
- Own the management of adjudication platforms, new functionality and features, and day to day operational needs
- Aide in the strategic planning, and drive execution of product roadmaps across both B2B and consumer business
- Develop detailed and crisp business requirements that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for the capabilities offered
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and strategic business leaders to align product development with company objectives
- Drive innovation in product development, staying ahead of market trends and customer needs
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, impactful products that meet both market demands and regulatory standards
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is highly desirable
