Senior Product Manager

Summary

The job is for a Senior Product Manager in Gusto's Embedded Core API team, responsible for driving product development of critical projects, working with partner developers, and identifying emerging technologies. The role requires 5+ years of experience in product management, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering complex technical products.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in product management with experience building API-first technical products for developers
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical products, from concept to launch, in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Expertise and passion for working cross-functionally and influencing platform teams within larger orgs
• Analytical mindset and proficiency in data-driven decision-making, with experience using metrics and analytics tools to drive product insights and improvements

Responsibilities

• Drive product development of critical projects from concept to launch
• Work with developer teams at our partners to develop a deep understanding of their needs and how to enable them to bring payroll to their customers as quickly as possible
• Partner with Engineering, Design, Data Science, CX, Solution Architects, and other counterparts across Gusto to solve complex cross-functional problems

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Fintech, Payroll, or HR is a plus

Benefits

• Compensation amount for this role is targeted at $144,000 to $178,000/yr in Denver & most major metro locations, and $186,000 to $230,000/yr for San Francisco, New York, & Seattle. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate location, experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above
• Gusto has physical office spaces in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City. Employees who are based in those locations will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately 2-3 days per week
