Senior Product Manager, Remote - India

Summary

The job is for a Product Manager at Plivo, a global cloud communications platform with over 300 employees across multiple countries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for product feature analysis, requirement gathering, team management, stakeholder collaboration, and ensuring regulatory compliance. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science is strongly preferred, along with 6 years of experience, including 4 years in product management at a tech B2B startup.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is strongly preferred
• Overall 6 Years of experience with a minimum 4 years of product management experience dealing with technical problem solutions at a Tech B2B start-Up as a product manager is a must
• Proven track record for building, launching, and maintaining high-scale, successful products
• 2+ Years of Software Development experience is a must
• Excellent communication and presentation skills - written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Product feature analysis
• Result-driven planning and execution through the entire product lifecycle for one of the Plivo API products
• Gathering and prioritizing product requirements
• Working with development teams as a product owner to lead implementation using agile methodology
• Ensuring all stakeholder business requirements are met
• Collaborating with customers and carrier partners to deliver best-in-class experiences
• Communicating product roadmap, project status, and issues to executive management and stakeholders
• Engaging closely with engineering in Agile methodology to help determine the best technical implementation/design while balancing time-to-market needs
• Partnering with cross-functional teams at Plivo and external partners to design, build, launch, and market new features
• Using analytics, market research, usability studies, and competitive analysis to drive decision-making
• Defining and proactively monitoring key performance metrics to support and inform product decisions
• Engaging in problem-solving with Business Analysts to determine trends and root causes
• Partnering with Customer Support teams in solving pain points for our users
• Partnering with Legal, Privacy, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure products are within regulatory boundaries

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Voice/calling products
• PM experience at an API business (minimum 2 years)
