Senior Product Manager

Summary

Join Reddit's Top of Funnel team as a Product Manager and play a key role in shaping the future of user discovery and experience. You will define and execute the strategy for optimizing Reddit's ranking in third-party search engines. Responsibilities include roadmapping, designing experiments, leveraging data analysis, and collaborating with engineering and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate possesses 4+ years of consumer product management experience, strong analytical and technical skills, and excellent interpersonal abilities. This is a fully remote position (EST timezone preferred) offering competitive compensation and benefits.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience in consumer product management
• Proven experience developing long-term strategies and product roadmaps, setting OKRs, defining, running, and measuring experiments, and working collaboratively with peers from engineering, PM, data science, and other cross-functional teams
• Exceptional analytical skills (along with running SQL queries) as well as problem solving skills with the ability to make complex tradeoffs
• Strong technical background, experience with system design and high level knowledge of system architecture
• Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to align a diverse set of stakeholders toward a common goal
• Ability to work independently and solve problems as they arise
• Experience managing large amounts of complexity, uncertainty, and ambiguity
• Possesses a growth mindset and works in a collaborative manner with all partners

Responsibilities

• Define and execute on the vision and strategy for Top of Funnel Platform in order to optimize our ability to rank in 3rd party search engines
• Own the roadmapping process and define the right OKRs that drive the product forward
• Design and analyze experiments that allow us to measure and attribute platform product changes to the outcomes on both search engines and the site
• Leverage your strong analytical skills to dig into data and identify the opportunities that drive the largest impact
• Partner closely with engineering to develop a roadmap, prioritize and execute to deliver the highest impact features
• Design platform products with both crawlers and customers in mind, considering the tradeoffs and ensuring we’re balancing the needs of both
• Partner closely with Design and Data Science to align roadmaps and land exceptional experiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with building SEO products or services within a large organization
• Experience being scrappy or a self-starter is a plus (e.g. being a start-up founder)
• Demonstrated passion, experience or domain expertise in SEO
• Past ML experience, relevance and ranking products
• Growth experience at scale
