Requirements

  • 5-7+ years experience bringing customer-facing technology products to market
  • 3-5 years in a senior product management or product strategy experience
  • High level of experience with service / API-driven technologies
  • Superb written/presentation/oral skills, ability to easily interface with customers, executives, peers and engineers
  • Demonstrated expertise in conducting comprehensive market and competitive analyses
  • Ability to identify metrics/key performance measures and use data to drive decisions that enhance the customer & user experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Adaptable and comfortable with an often fast-paced and dynamic startup work environment
  • Comfortable with being hands as needed and understands that no job is beneath a team member
  • Experience working with Agile and Scrum methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Oversee flagship products within the Patient Experience portfolio: Online Scheduling, Patient Intake, and the Patient Portal
  • Own and manage the core scheduling and pre-appointment experience for both patients and providers
  • Ensure streamlined and effective onboarding of data collection and integration into the Tebra platform
  • Lead the development of new products
  • Define the future of our product experience
  • Deliver a radically simpler, more advanced healthcare solution
  • Define, build, and launch exceptional products
  • Have a feel for the level of effort required for a feature and take that into account when drafting requirements
  • Understand technical and design trade-offs, and work with your team to find creative solutions
  • Know how to motivate your team to push through challenges, and do whatever it takes to get your project out the door
  • Assess the quality of a release and make a decision on whether it meets the bar for release
  • Understand and fulfill customer needs
  • Formulate the right business questions and track down data to inform decisions
  • Connect project-level outcomes to key metrics that drive your product area
  • Foster a close relationship with users and leverage feedback to prioritize roadmap decisions
  • Balance feedback from users with business needs and make the right trade-off decisions
  • Use low-fidelity tools to outline a design approach and work with your team to translate that into a higher-fidelity representation
  • Understand the role that design plays in explaining product functionality to the user
  • Know and communicate the market dynamics and competitive landscape
  • Understand where Tebra sits competitively and deliver an accurate SWOT analysis
  • Deliver business impact via product innovation
  • Drive for business results with a view towards holistic product success
  • Assess results, define next steps, and make decisions that take into account team and company level trade-offs
  • Articulate to your peers why your current work is important to the company
  • Craft a near-term product roadmap that aligns with broader team and company goals
  • Make trade-off decisions that maximize value
  • Define a clear vision for your product area
  • Make a meaningful impact to the strategy through day-to-day product execution and contributions to the roadmap
  • Bring in ideas from other industries and passion for solving customer problems in new, innovative ways
  • Take initiative and influence how we market, sell, and talk to our customers about the product and product advancements
  • Be an excellent communicator adjusting the delivery for varying levels of the organization
  • Identify stakeholders that must be consulted on your project, predict their feedback, and have a plan to address it
  • Find product solutions that strike the right balance of stakeholder needs
  • Effectively escalate when a solution cannot be found
  • Coordinate with third party vendors and strategic partners to ensure that initiatives are well-defined and delivered
  • Seek out informal opportunities to mentor more junior members of your team
  • Help guide project execution
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive holistic product success
  • Build buy-in and support for your projects from senior leaders
  • Work with your manager to put together a concrete, actionable career development roadmap

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing online scheduling products
  • 5+ years of experience managing SaaS products, healthcare technology, FitTech (fitness tech), patient-facing
  • Familiarity with major EHR systems, processes and data flows into and out of these EHR systems
  • Familiarity with Jira/Confluence
