Requirements
- Undergraduate degree
- 7+ years of digital marketing experience in healthcare
- 4+ years experience in a similar pharmaceutical or biotech omnichannel role
- Deep understanding of digital marketing tactics, digital channels, web strategy, customer engagement journeys, media (paid, social, SEO/SEM) and the technology platforms that enable them
- Experience leading delivery teams, including vendor management, planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Local presence in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area for periodic in-person collaboration, training, and important team meetings
Responsibilities
- Design and implement an omnichannel marketing strategy aligned with Verona Pharmaβs business goals, emphasizing personalized, compliant, and impactful campaigns to engage healthcare professionals and patients
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of email campaigns, ensuring cohesive messaging, regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, CAN-SPAM), and collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Ensure seamless customer experiences by aligning strategies across digital, social media, web, and mobile channels to enhance the overall customer journey and brand presence
- Optimize the use of marketing platforms and tools to improve functionality and campaign performance, ensuring integration with other systems for a unified view of customer interactions
- Drive initiatives to enhance scalability, streamline processes, and foster continuous improvement for maximum marketing impact
- Establish data-driven best practices, leveraging industry trends to ensure effective and innovative marketing strategies
- Partner with analytics teams to evaluate performance metrics (e.g., reach, engagement, ROI) and use insights to optimize campaigns and refine digital strategies
- Mentor and manage external marketing partners, fostering collaboration, engagement, and a high-performance culture
