Summary
Join Unity's Data & Services Product team as an experienced Product Manager. You will leverage data throughout the product lifecycle to enhance advertising solutions, balancing strategy, governance, and implementation of data-related aspects. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including executives, engineers, and analysts. You will be central to critical initiatives, defining data flow, understanding customer needs, and collaborating with engineering. The position requires defining a clear vision and strategy for data products, translating complex requirements into actionable items, prioritizing initiatives, and leading cross-functional teams. Relocation and visa sponsorship are not offered.
Requirements
- Experience as a data product manager working with large volumes of data at scale
- Exceptional communication and influence skills with the ability to work with cross functional stakeholders across the organization
- Deep domain knowledge in data modeling, database design, and data lakehouse architectures with the capability to drive technical decisions with engineering colleagues
- Strong analytical and data driven decision making skills
- Knowledge and hands-on SQL experience
- A demonstrated track record of delivering results through shipping products
Responsibilities
- Define data flow from data generation or ingestion, through transformation and storage, to consumption for machine-learning models or analysis
- Work to deeply understand the data needs of internal customers and collaborate with engineering on the best ways to execute on those requirements
- Define and articulate a clear vision and strategy for the data products you manage, aligning with Unityβs overall objectives
- Translate complex requirements of large data initiatives into clear actionable items
- Prioritize data initiatives across a wide range of internal stakeholders
- Lead and motivate a cross functional team of engineers and analysts
