Join Temporal as a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Platform Operations and own the messaging and positioning for Temporal's platform operations features. Requirements
- 5+ years in product marketing, developer marketing, or a related role. Experience must include marketing highly technical products and technical fluency
- Experience launching products for developers as a core audience, front-end development, and expertise in developer tools β you love to understand the technical details, then break down technical concepts in ways that normal people can understand
- Direct experience operating as a full-stack marketer, leading cross-functional initiatives (that cater to developers) from ideation to execution
- Demonstrated track record of being able to manage stakeholders at all levels, from individual contributors to senior executives. Must have experience driving executive-level conversations
- Experience working on campaigns that required you to directly write developer-facing copy
Responsibilities
- Own messaging and positioning for Temporal platform operations features, access management, and other aspects of the Temporal Cloud and OSS products that contribute to developer environment management with prospects and customers, including partner integrations of record
- Own and maintain a library of sales assets, content, collateral, and training for your coverage area
- Develop and refine use case messaging to be used by the broader marketing and Sales organization
- Drive strategic direction and planning for campaigns and other marketing activities as aligned to corporate goals
- Develop effective sales training materials and operationalize enablement, making it easy for sales to understand our product offerings, key positioning, and marketing efforts
- Collect, prioritize, and produce customer stories from product leaders, sales teams, and partners to develop case studies and reference stories
- Drive industry thought leadership at global conferences and/or for customer meetings
- Establish executive relationships with strategic customer partners

- You possess a balance of creative and strategic skills, are comfortable working cross-functionally across the entire business, and are passionate about our startup ecosystem
- You have deep experience as a founder in, or supporting the early-stage startup ecosystem
- You have a deep passion for Temporalβs mission, our business, and what weβre building for developers
- You are highly creative. You are equally comfortable brainstorming a big idea as you are creating compelling content that delights developers
- You are an expert in understanding marketing programs, growth levers, and ways to drive adoption
- You are an exceptional communicator, able to boil down insights and complex information into concise stories and actionable recommendations
- You have a demonstrated ability to operate with empathy, agility, and flexibility in a remote, collaborative, and fast-paced environment with team members, colleagues, and cross-functional partners

- The estimated pay range for this role is $136,000 - 170,000
