Requirements

  • 6+ years experience in HR in fast-growing, global companies
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business Management, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years experience in project/program management, overseeing end-to-end process changes with high level senior team members and stakeholders, requirements gathering, documentation, and facilitating change management
  • Deep understanding of Workday modules: HCM, Benefits, Advanced Compensation or Leaves & Absence
  • Experience leading People Operations projects in partnership with Total Rewards, People Partners, or Talent & Performance teams
  • Experience managing People projects: creating timelines, defining process and technology project plans, test plans, communication plans, and cutover plans
  • Experience advising and building compliant HR processes. Deep understanding of HR compliance needs. Experience challenging the status quo, finding and adjusting other teams to new solutions
  • Experience in People Operations function. Hands on experience troubleshooting People Operations processes, operations process mapping and documentation
  • Highly inclusive managing style to coach and mentor junior members of the team, as well as build strong relationships with HR senior staff and other key stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Oversee gathering and documentation of HR processes and program requirements, execute appropriate revisions to policies and procedures, evaluate proposed changes from HR and non-HR groups, and provide appropriate guidance to management
  • Lead gathering of business and technology requirements, track progress by updating project timelines, informing stakeholders of next steps and responsibilities, leading meetings and ensuring all follow up is completed
  • Provide transparent and timely reporting and communications to all stakeholders
  • Manage and escalate project risks and issues as needed. Establish success metrics, KPIs, and ensure project performance is tracked and measured. Deliver clear, transparent, and timely project updates and communications to leadership, team members, and stakeholders
  • Facilitate discussions across with People team stakeholders, People team Senior team members and SME Program owners. Facilitate requirements sign-off across all necessary parties
  • Collaborate with team SMEs and establish technology roadmaps supporting prioritized HR programs. Assist in technology prioritization for key stakeholder groups
  • Create, coordinate development, or update user guides and change management material for program launch success. Partner with the People Operations team on regular maintenance of process enhancements
  • Facilitate operations and systems testing needs for implementation of enhancements
  • Continually seek and investigate ways to improve existing processes and fix pain points through process or systems improvements
  • Use data to identify improvements and risk reduction opportunities. Continuously backlog improvements for prioritization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Recruiting, Payroll, or Talent Management processes
  • Previous experience in leading implementations or large scale enhancements of Workday
  • Experience with Workday business processes, data triaging and mapping, testing, and EIBs
  • Familiar with Agile methodologies and prioritization
  • Knowledge of Workday security and organization configuration
