Summary
Join Airbnb's Host Services team as a Senior Programs and Business Operations Lead to drive the global expansion of its Host Services business lines. You will act as the business owner for the Referrals product and strategy, developing and executing innovative strategies to fuel growth. This role requires strategic leadership, cross-functional collaboration, global expansion expertise, operational excellence, and stakeholder engagement. You will analyze data, create actionable plans, and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The position involves leading cross-border projects, conducting competitive evaluations, and developing competitive pricing and payout models. This is a remote-eligible position, with occasional office work or offsite attendance.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience leading high-growth businesses
- Proven ability to align cross-functional teams, build new ventures from the ground up, and drive growth through strategies such as scaling referrals and other acquisition levers
- Strong analytical abilities combined with a deep understanding of marketplace dynamics
- Ability to distill complex information into clear business strategies
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership
- Expertise in driving collaboration across diverse teams, fostering transparency, accountability, and a unified vision
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working independently to execute complex programs
- A strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and new product development
- Proven experience in leading strategic and tactical execution within a large organization, with the ability to advise management on complex projects or issues
- Capable of self-learning and developing tools to enhance processes, interpreting business risks, and recommending best practices
- Strong enthusiasm for working closely with the Airbnb community, consistently demonstrating Airbnbโs core values and fostering a sense of belonging
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans that drive growth across various regions
- Navigate and address regional and category-specific challenges and opportunities
- Lead recurring performance meetings across leadership and functional teams to deliver results
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, finance, marketing, sales operations, and supply, to achieve shared objectives that deliver meaningful business results
- Lead cross-border projects to accelerate the global expansion of the Host Service business lines, ensuring alignment with global team goals and Airbnbโs long-term goals
- Architect regular competitive evaluations across global markets to ensure optimal supply and demand levers are being met
- Leverage your analytical skills to translate data-driven insights into actionable operational plans that enhance performance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide valuable guidance and support to help Host Service Lines thrive within the Airbnb marketplace
