Requirements

- Strong understanding of misinformation, disinformation, and social media dynamics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists and industry stakeholders
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align communication efforts with business goals
- Experience in crisis communication and issues management
- Self-motivated and able to handle multiple, competing priorities
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to enhance Alethea's reputation and effectively convey its mission and values
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and other media participants, collaborating with external partners to amplify the company's message and initiatives
- Lead the creation of compelling and impactful content, including press releases, blog posts, reports, whitepapers, and social media content, working closely with the CEO
- Oversee the company's social media presence, including Linkedin, ensuring a consistent brand voice and engaging content
- Develop and implement crisis communication plans to address potential challenges both internal and externally focused
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of communication efforts
