You will maintain clear documentation for your code and methodologies, ensuring transparency and reproducibility, and communicate your findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. As a self-starter with a passion for quantitative finance, you will be driven to continuously improve solutions for clients and contribute to a collaborative team in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of quantitative analysis experience, with a minimum of a MSc in a quantitative discipline (such as STEM subject or Economics)
- Proficiency in Python, with a solid understanding of Python libraries (such as NumPy, pandas, Polars, and scikit-learn) for data manipulation, statistical modeling
- A minimum of 5 years experience working with Futures order book market data. With strong familiarity in otherΒ financial instruments (e.g. other derivatives, equities, fixed income)
- Willingness to work in a fast paced environment, and work to tight deadlines
- Experience working with large datasets
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically under pressure
- Excellent teamwork and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Strong presentation, and both verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Utilize the BMLL product suite to support marketing and sales, directly contributing to business growth and helping sell the BMLL product suite
- Work closely with the go-to-market team to promote the product, provide customer support, and gather feedback that shapes the evolution of the product
- Assist in technical prototyping for external partners and clients, utilizing a petabyte-scale data lake and cutting-edge data science tools
- Support the product team in the development and management of the product roadmap, generating ideas, and actively participating in the product development cycle
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other OOP languages
- Experience with Snowflake/ SQL or other database management systems
- Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
