Summary

Join CoLab's People team as a Senior Recruiter to attract and recruit top talent across Canada. You will manage the full talent life cycle, from job description creation to offer, collaborating with hiring managers and ensuring a positive candidate experience. This role requires experience recruiting in a high-growth company, particularly with technical positions, along with strong interpersonal skills, high attention to detail, and excellent communication. You will help hiring managers create engaging job postings, build diverse candidate pipelines, and conduct interviews. Requirements

  • Experience recruiting in a high growth company, bonus points if you have experience with highly technical positions
  • Genuine curiosity about people and their careers
  • Experience building high-trust relationships
  • High attention to detail both with people and process
  • A highly organized approach to manage a high volume of multiple positions at varying priority
  • High level of emotional intelligence
  • Ability to communicate authentically, frequently, professionally and clearly

Responsibilities

  • Help hiring managers write engaging job postings that attract world class talent
  • Use your extensive research and creative skills to build diverse candidate pipelines
  • Identify, engage, and select the best candidates for our current roles and build a talent pipeline for future opportunities
  • Conduct application screening calls or other creative requests to select candidates for interviews with the team
  • Conduct phone, video and in person interviews with appropriate team members
  • Recommend and manage short-list interviews, recap discussions, and make offers to candidates
  • Provide regular updates to the leadership team on the status of all positions
  • Help find creative solutions for tough to fill roles
  • Complete references, background checks, and other documentation to finalize the hiring process
  • Facilitate a world class candidate experience
  • Work closely with the larger People Team on hiring goals and on other people projects that help make CoLab an amazing place to work
