Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in sales compensation, total rewards, or a related field
  • Strong ability to manage complex projects end-to-end while keeping all stakeholders aligned
  • Highly strategic and analytical thinker who can balance data-driven insights with practical implementation
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving structure in complex situations
  • Strong attention to detail, execution discipline, and problem-solving instincts

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end management of sales compensation programs, ensuring timely design, rollout, and administration
  • Partner closely with Finance, Sales Operations, and HR teams to align compensation structures with business strategy and financial objectives
  • Ensure sales teams understand and trust their compensation plans by leading effective communication and education efforts
  • Engage and influence senior leaders, aligning compensation strategies with broader company goals
  • Tailor communication and approach for different stakeholder groups, ensuring buy-in and effective collaboration
  • Anticipate objections and navigate challenges proactively to drive alignment and execution
  • Identify pain points and inefficiencies in sales compensation administration, proposing and driving improvements
  • Ensure that sales compensation solutions are both analytically sound and operationally practical
  • Think critically about long-term scalability, identifying areas where automation or process enhancements can drive efficiency
  • Drive timelines and ensure all moving parts of the program stay on track
  • Own the preparation and facilitation of cross-functional meetings, ensuring discussions are productive and decisions move forward
  • Proactively track deliverables, following up with stakeholders to ensure execution remains on schedule
  • Conduct in-depth analyses on compensation effectiveness, sales performance trends, and plan competitiveness
  • Leverage data-driven insights to recommend strategic plan adjustments
  • Partner with Finance and Sales Ops to ensure accurate compensation modeling and forecasting
