Join Inato, a Tech for Good company revolutionizing clinical research, as a Sr. Sales Director. You will be pivotal in driving revenue growth by forging strategic partnerships with top 20 global pharmaceutical companies. This role demands exceeding sales targets, managing the full sales cycle, and cultivating strong client relationships. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and contribute to a positive company culture. Success requires strategic thinking, a consultative sales approach, and a deep understanding of the life sciences industry. This position reports directly to the VP of Global Sales.
Requirements
- 5+ years of sales experience in life sciences or healthcare technology, with a successful track record
- Demonstrated experience in selling data or software solutions to senior clinical operations and C-level executives within top 40 or mid-market pharmaceutical companies. Must have an established network of contacts within these companies
- Proven track record of managing large enterprise-wide deals ($1Mβ$10M), from identification to closure
- Highly self-motivated, proactive, and capable of thriving with minimal supervision
- A consultative approach to sales, with a deep commitment to understanding and solving client business problems
- Strong understanding of drug development processes and the commercial challenges facing the life sciences industry
- A passion for technology and its potential to transform healthcare
- Must be based in EST or Central time zones
Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed pipeline generation and revenue targets by creating and executing effective sales strategies within your assigned territory and/or accounts
- Own the full sales cycle, from lead generation to close, including delivering compelling value propositions, conducting technology demonstrations, negotiating business terms, and finalizing contracts
- Cultivate and grow relationships with clients at all levels, including senior clinical operations leaders and C-suite executives of top pharmaceutical companies
- Act as a trusted advisor, deeply understanding customer needs and aligning Inatoβs solutions to their strategic goals
- Partner with cross-functional teams such as customer success, marketing and product to ensure seamless project execution and exceptional client outcomes
- Contribute to maintaining and enhancing a best-in-class company culture that fosters collaboration, innovation, and shared success
- Navigate complex solution sales cycles, leveraging internal and external resources to address client needs effectively
- Provide accurate forecasting and reporting to sales leadership, supporting data-driven decision-making
