Summary
Join Snowplow as a Senior Sales Engineer to work alongside Account Executives, partner with them to qualify opportunities, and showcase how Snowplow's Customer Data Infrastructure enables digital analytics, marketing, product analytics, and AI/ML use cases. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering bespoke pitches and demos, leading Proof of Concepts, and becoming a trusted advisor to our customers.
Requirements
- Proven experience with 10+ years in a Sales Engineering capacity
- Strong technical skills and professional experience in some of the following areas: web and mobile app development, SQL, ETL or data pipelines, and data analysis
- Experience with cloud data warehouses / lakes including Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, S3, and ADLS
- Strong technical skills and experience with data modeling and dbt
- Clear and confident communicator experienced in presenting solutions to business stakeholders of all levels including Data Professionals, Heads of Data, and CTOs
- Highly organized and able to effectively manage your time across multiple prospects - you thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Able to collaborate and strategize with Account Executives on account plans
Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives to qualify opportunities and identify use cases across key verticals (retail, media, digital products/services)
- Leverage your domain expertise to showcase how Snowplow's Customer Data Infrastructure enables digital analytics, marketing, product analytics, and AI/ML use cases
- Design and deliver bespoke pitches and demos for various prospect stakeholders such as Heads of Data, CTOs, data engineers / analysts / scientists, and wider senior management
- Lead Proof of Concepts providing hands-on demonstration of Snowplow's full capabilities
- Become a Snowplow product expert and trusted advisor to our customers
- Contribute technical thought leadership to support broader go-to-market initiatives
