Senior Salesforce Administrator

Summary

Join NPR's dynamic team as a Senior Salesforce Administrator, contributing to the innovation and maintenance of our Salesforce CRM. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement product features, optimize the CRM data model, and guide Salesforce resources. Leverage your expertise to design and update platform architecture, ensuring seamless business processes. This role requires a minimum of five years of Salesforce administration experience and specific certifications. You will lead the design and maintenance of system permissions and integrations, while implementing sound data hygiene practices. Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive work environment, mentoring team members and optimizing integrated applications.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of experience as a Salesforce administrator
• Demonstrated understanding of Salesforce platform, best practices, and functionality
• Demonstrated success in creating innovative, user-friendly Salesforce solutions
• Understanding of basic triggers/Apex code knowledge
• Experience with DevOps/release management
• Experience with connected apps in Salesforce
• Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator, and/or Platform App Builder certifications

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team leaders, product managers and others on Salesforce configurations and functionality to implement cross-divisional initiatives aimed at advancing NPR’s strategic goals
• Partner with product and technical teams to evaluate, scope, design, prioritize, and complete new platform development in support of organizational strategic priorities
• Assess the impact of new requirements on the existing platform as well as all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes
• Communicate opportunities, trade-offs, challenges, and changes within and across teams in a professional, efficient and creative manner
• Lead the design and maintenance of system permissions including roles, profiles, permission sets, public groups, organization wide defaults, sharing rules, etc
• Lead and provide guidance to the product and technical teams on the design of system configuration architecture including flows, process builder, record types, custom objects, etc
• Manage the enablement of upstream and downstream system/data integrations within NPR’s Salesforce environment, from internally managed APIs to external 3rd parties
• Implement sound data hygiene practices and safeguards across NPR
• Document appropriate NPR Salesforce usage, processes and workflows
• Guide and mentor cross-divisional Salesforce team members
• Work with cross-divisional teams to review, manage, and optimize integrated applications
• Contribute to a culture of collaboration and inclusion across all disciplines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Nonprofit Success Pack and nonprofit processes
• Experience with Salesforce CPQ a plus
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud a plus
• Experience with Salesforce Accounting Subledger a plus
