Join Devis, a leading provider of innovative software development services, as a Senior ServiceNow Architect. Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of the ServiceNow platform for a large-scale US Government IT project. You will leverage your deep expertise in ServiceNow architecture, federal government IT environments, and proven track record of delivering complex solutions. This primarily remote role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Occasional client site visits near Washington, DC are expected. The position is contingent upon award.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow architecture and development
  • Extensive experience with ServiceNow platform architecture, application development, and integrations
  • Strong knowledge of federal IT security, compliance, and governance frameworks (FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST, RMF)
  • Hands-on experience implementing ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SPM, APM, TRPM, GRC HRSD, WSD, CSM and automation workflows
  • Expertise in ServiceNow scripting, REST/SOAP APIs, and data integrations
  • Proven ability to lead development teams, enforce best practices, and mentor junior ServiceNow professionals
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills to engage with government managers and executive teams
  • Experience with Agile, SAFe, and DevSecOps methodologies
  • The ability to pass a background check is required

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with federal IT regulations (FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, etc.)
  • Provide technical leadership for ServiceNow development teams, guiding solution design, best practices, and governance
  • Oversee the development and integration of ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SPM, APM, TRPM, GRC HRSD, WSD and CSM) with existing federal systems, and third-party applications
  • Ensure ServiceNow solutions align with government cloud security policies, DevSecOps principles, ICAM frameworks, and Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA)
  • Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, roadmaps, and technical documentation
  • Develop and maintain enterprise architecture standards, data models, and integration strategies for ServiceNow implementations
  • Engage with federal agency executives, stakeholders, business analysts, cross-functional teams, and program managers to define and translate ServiceNow requirements into scalable and sustainable solutions
  • Provide technical expertise and support during project planning, execution, and delivery and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively
  • Define and enforce configuration management, change control, and governance processes for ServiceNow environments
  • Conduct technical reviews, code audits, and performance optimization for ServiceNow applications and workflows
  • Guide teams through ServiceNow upgrades, patching, and migration strategies to maintain system integrity and compliance
  • Stay up to date with the latest ServiceNow capabilities, tools, and federal IT modernization trends to drive continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), or Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • PMP, ITIL, or SAFe Agile certifications
  • Experience working with US Federal agencies
  • Background in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and enterprise IT service management
