Requirements

  • Possess 8+ years of experience
  • Hold a BS in Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a Related Technical Degree or 10+ years of experience
  • Be a U.S. Citizen
  • Possess knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in ServiceNow systems administration and support
  • Have experience as a System Administrator in a UNIX environment
  • Demonstrate experience with upgrading systems, software migrations, and resolving help desk tickets
  • Have experience configuring mid-servers
  • Demonstrate strong experience deploying in an Agile Environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide administration services such as system maintenance, technical troubleshooting, managing roles, and access to the system
  • Upgrade all instances when ServiceNow releases updated versions, requiring preparation, testing, and bug fixes across production and non-production environments
  • Perform all necessary patches and communicate with ServiceNow for technical support
  • Perform routine maintenance to include performance monitoring and error identification/remediation
  • Manage Instance Security, User/Group Access/Access Control Lists
  • Resolve help desk/support tickets
  • Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
