Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Administrator or Developer
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or higher
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices
  • Experience with JavaScript, SQL, git, and web services
  • Experience building automations within ServiceNow
  • Proficiency in customizing and configuring ServiceNow modules (e.g., Incident, Problem, Change Management)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the ServiceNow implementation project plan and execution as well as roadmap development
  • Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform
  • Configure and customize ServiceNow modules to meet business requirements
  • Develop and implement ServiceNow workflows, reports, forms, and scripts
  • Manage user accounts, roles, and access controls within ServiceNow
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow-related issues
  • Conduct regular system health checks and performance tuning
  • Plan and execute ServiceNow upgrades and patches
  • Create and maintain documentation for ServiceNow processes and configurations
  • Train end-users on ServiceNow functionalities and best practices
  • Collaborate with IT teammates to integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications
  • Stay current with ServiceNow updates and new features

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience owning ServiceNow implementations end-to-end
  • Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Implementation Specialist, Application Developer)
  • Experience performing migrations from applications such as Zendesk, Freshservice, and Jira Service Management
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow Performance Analytics and reporting
  • Familiarity with or certifications in Agile methodologies
  • Understanding of IT security principles and compliance requirements
