Senior Solution Consultant

Summary

Join Anaplan's presales team as a Senior Solution Consultant, focusing on the Public Sector. You will engage with large enterprise prospects, identify business process pain points, and showcase Anaplan's solutions. Responsibilities include developing and delivering solutions, demos, and messaging, building Proof of Concept models, and navigating prospect environments. Success is rewarded with an outstanding commission structure. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of FP&A and/or Solution Consulting experience within the public sector, along with strong presentation and client relationship skills. Requirements

• 5+ years of FP&A (general finance, budgeting, etc.) and/or Solution Consulting/Implementation experience within the public sector
• Prior experience in Enterprise Performance Management and Financial Planning solutions
• Prior experience developing government-specific assets from commercially-oriented solutions
• Aptitude for quickly ramping up on new technology
• Ability to take a consultative selling approach by listening to customer needs and shaping a shared vision for a solution
• Excellent presentation, storytelling, client relationship, and interpersonal skills- internally and externally
• Growth mentality
• You’re comfortable challenging old ways of doing things
• BA/BS Degree in Business, Finance, or Technical Concentration

Responsibilities

• Engage with targeted, large enterprise prospects to identify suboptimal business processes and related pain points
• Ascertain and explain Anaplan’s outstanding ability to solve them
• Develop and deliver planning function-specific solutions, demos, and messaging
• At times, building Proof of Concept models tailored to solve prospects’ problems
• Navigate sophisticated prospect environments to facilitate the adoption of the Anaplan solution
• Cross-train teammates on solution expertise
• Create product awareness in the marketplace

Preferred Qualifications

Higher Education experience (university system) is a plus
