Senior Solutions Architect

Summary

Join DuploCloud as a Solutions Architect and leverage your cloud expertise to drive customer success. This role blends pre-sales engagement with direct customer interaction, including building POCs and performing infrastructure assessments. You will create cost calculators, business ROI plans, and migration project plans, collaborating closely with sales and the DevOps team. The position requires 10+ years of experience in solutions/cloud architecture and hands-on experience with various technologies. Requirements

• 10+ years of demonstrated ability to work as a solutions and/or cloud architect
• Experience working with both customers and internal teams in a pre-sales, consulting, or delivery capacity
• Be a dynamic team member who will both teach and learn from all of us on the Solutions Engineering team
• Be a problem solver who can interpret sophisticated problem statements, boil them down into simple solutions, and collaborate with prospects, channel partners
• Be comfortable in both a business and technical context, working with executives or talking shop with technical audiences
• Be open to giving and receiving feedback, tolerate failure and be passionate about making clients successful
• Experience with one or all of the public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, ECS and similar container orchestration technologies
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and similar IaC technologies
• Experience with CI/CD systems and DevOps engineering
• Enjoy helping customers with their infrastructure transformation via solutions engineering through a 2-3 month DuploCloud onboarding process
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Sales organization and engage in the pre-sales process to enable successful deal conversion
• Engage directly with customers to build POCs demonstrating the value of the product
• Perform detailed infrastructure assessments of customers' existing environments
• Produce cost calculators, business ROI plans, and migration project plans
• Work closely with the DevOps team for successful hand off for project implementation

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS experience
• Knowledge of AI/ML use cases
