Senior Solutions Engineer

Summary

Censys is looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to assist and enable their customers by serving as a product expert and coach during various stages of the customer lifecycle. The ideal candidate should have both a technical and consulting services background, be curious, empathetic, flexible, humble, and passionate about cybersecurity.

Requirements

• Communicate clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical users
• Knowledge in attack surface composition elements: ASN, CIDRs, domain registrations, certificates and whois records
• Knowledge of common network protocols: https, ssh, smtp, ftp, smb, rdp, etc
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices
• Understanding of SSL/TLS and certificates
• Above-average knowledge of information security and best practices
• 4+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer
• Excellent communication and presentation skills. Comfortable with giving presentations on stage with large audiences

Responsibilities

• Partner with account executives to drive multi-stakeholder deal cycles across industries to solve mission-critical business problems
• Drive the sales discovery process, helping to uncover customer's current pains and align to their key business objectives and technical requirements
• Support efforts to author and maintain user documentation
• Maintain up-to-date technical and functional knowledge of the Censys platform including Search and Attack Surface Management
• Collaborate with product and engineering to improve the user experience from end to end
