Senior Strategist

Summary
Join FanDuel as a Senior Strategist, Voice of Customer, and support the relationship between Customer Operations and various departments (Product, Commercial, Marketing, Engineering, Design, Operational Readiness, Fraud and Payments) associated with the Casino product. You will focus on Voice of the Customer, Customer Experience, and key initiatives, driving improvements across stakeholders. Responsibilities include research and analysis, strategy development, performance monitoring, collaboration, presentation and communication, journey mapping, and continuous learning. You will advocate for CX and adapt to a dynamic environment. This role requires a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), 5-8 years of experience, excellent communication skills, and expertise in various tools. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics or a related field
- 5-8 years experience in Customer Experience, Strategy, Analytics and/or Sportsbook gaming role
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience in delivering and executing in complex and dynamic business environments
- Detail-oriented with the ability to see the big picture and create compelling narratives
- Expertise in Microsoft Office & Project Management tools, such as Jira, Confluence etc
- Occasional weekend work as needed
Responsibilities
- Conduct research to understand customer behavior, industry trends, market conditions, competitor strategies and customer preferences
- Analyze data manually or with advanced tooling to identify insights and opportunities for the business
- Assist managers in working across customer areas in developing business strategies and plans
- Contribute ideas and insights to strategic discussions and brainstorming sessions
- Monitor and track KPI’s ( Key Performance Indicators) to evaluate effectiveness of strategies and initiatives
- Provide regular reports and analysis to stakeholders across cross-functional teams on the performance of various Marketing, Commercial or product efforts
- Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Commercial, Research, Product & Legal to advance strategic initiatives as necessary
- Assist in shaping stories, prepare presentations and reports to communicate strategic recommendations and findings to stakeholders
- Clearly articulate ideas and insights in meetings & presentations
- Assist in defining and mapping key customer journeys, identifying and visualizing key pain points, opportunity areas and moments that matter
- Stay updated on industry trends, new and emerging technologies to assist with automation of repetitive tasks and best practices in strategic planning and management
- Be willing to take on new challenges and adapt to changing priorities or circumstances as needed in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Be a strong advocate for CX at all times to all key stakeholder audiences
