Summary

Join DEPT® as a Senior Strategist and become a strategic driver of client products, services, and experiences. Collaborate with talented colleagues and agency leadership to influence the agency's future. As an essential team member, you will work with senior strategy leaders and colleagues from other disciplines to produce significant outcomes for clients. The role focuses on product & experience strategy and digital transformation, requiring expertise in developing roadmaps for digital ecosystems and applying critical analysis to data. You will contribute to large-scale strategies, lead mid-scale projects, audit brand channels, and provide informed opinions based on research and expertise. Responsibilities include building presentations, leading share-outs, designing research, conducting user testing, and mining data sources. You will work across departments and stakeholders to achieve desired results.

Requirements

  • Knowledge, communicative, and analytical skills equivalent to those normally obtained through receipt of a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, or equivalent years of additional related professional experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in strategy, CX, product design, and analytics and have led large strategic projects on numerous occasions
  • Working knowledge of UX best practices and experience bringing digital strategies to life

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to large-scale digital product and CX strategies that create genuinely differentiated products, services, and systems
  • Skilled at applying critical analysis to various sources of data and analytics in order to distill meaningful insights for our teams and clients
  • Experienced with developing roadmaps for digital ecosystems
  • Someone who values curiosity, creativity, and the relevant application of those traits to make original work
  • Able to distill complicated things into simple ideas, and transform simple ideas into inspiring creative and design opportunities
  • Contribute to large-scale product, service, brand, and business transformation strategies
  • Lead mid-scale strategy projects focused on experience design and D2C channels
  • Audit existing brand channels and products to identify gaps and areas for optimization
  • Provide informed opinions on how to achieve specific outcomes by using both empirical research and your subjective expertise
  • Build presentations and lead share-outs, check-ins, and presentations to colleagues and day-to-day clients
  • Design, implement, and analyze primary research across a range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies
  • Conduct user testing to help identify insights and opportunities for experience optimization
  • Mine primary and secondary data sources for insights
  • Work across all departments of DEPT®, the client, and other stakeholders to achieve the desired results and meet the objectives of the company
  • Take on other duties and responsibilities as assigned
